Look at all of these border issues since Pelosi came into office...

Meanwhile, let's take away from airport security.

What does it mean to you? You are just telling everyone to look, without telling us what it is YOU see. Would that be so hard?

Airport security? What's going on there, care to elaborate? Would that be so hard?

Guatemala migrant tried to rape immigrant woman at El Paso shelter site, police say
            https://www.elpasotimes.com/story/ne...nt/2526532002/
A Guatemalan immigrant being housed at a motel by an El Paso nonprofit was arrested on charges he attempted to rape a migrant woman who was also staying at the motel.

Francisco Maldonado Tojin, 23, allegedly attempted to rape a Guatemalan woman about 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Budget Inn Motel, 5634 Paisano Drive, El Paso police said.

Both Tojin and the woman were being housed at the motel by the Annunciation House, an El Paso nonprofit that provides shelter to immigrants released by Immigration and Customs Enforcement or U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Officers went to the motel room where Tojin was staying with his 6-year-old son.

Tojin was allegedly uncooperative with the officers and refused to identify himself, police said.

U.S. Border Patrol agents later identified him, and Tojin’s son was turned over to U.S. Border Patrol custody.

He added, “The past five years, somewhere between 150,000 to 200,000 refugees that have stayed with us at all of the different sites,
Shelters reported in December they had been taking in about 2,200 to 2,300 migrants a week, he said, but most only stay in El Paso a short time before heading to meet friends or family in other parts of the United States.

on Jan 15th, Tijuana will close El Barretal shelter currently holding 1,070 caravan migrants. Where will they go? The Mexicans have not answered that question. #BuildTheWall

They don't want a border wally, because fundamentally, they don't want a border. In fact, some believe the USA has bordered off land that was stolen from Mexico. Mexicans are just taking it back.

All the Federal workers support their forbearance of pay to pay for a wall.

                    https://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/07/cbp-...co-border.html

The fact the lack of protection on our borders poses a security risk isn’t even questioned by anyone with a brain on either side of the isle. The never-trumpers are only suddenly opposed to border protection (which even Obama recognized needed improvement) because it’s Trump’s political campaign slogan.
And you should definitely stop to gulp down everything without doing a background check. Do you even realize what said Terrorist Screening Database gets compiled of? Obviously not as it's not a database containing only informations about die hard terrorists and supporters of various kinds but also includes warrent informations from the Criminal Justice Information Services Division and entries of the Violent Gang and Terrorist Organization File for example.

Look it up yourself if you like here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terror...ening_Database

That the overwhelming part of the persons encountered mentioned in the article were either US citizens or lawful permanent residents shows what kind of people we're talking about here actually. These are obviously gang members and criminals but not terrorists in the common sense.

You can end up on that list for a multitude of reasons that have nothing to do with you being a terrorist or supportive of terrorism at all.

Now, do I've anything against you trying to keep out criminal gang members and the like you may ask? The answer is of course not but what is proposed with this wall is like shooting at sparrows with cannons. The article you linked (among others) makes it quite clear that the southern border isn't your major problem when it comes to things like this as more "people of interest" and things like drugs actually seem to enter your country via other means than the southern border.

You're getting played by your president and his coatholders. Did you got that by now or are you really that primitive that you can't compute these informations?

Our immigration laws need to be changed!

Immigration loophole allows MS-13 gang members to go free

                      https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...ole-releases-/

If the Trump administration had its way, Ramon Arevalo Lopez and Oscar Canales Molina would have been either in detention or deported.

Instead, they were out on the streets — thanks to judges’ orders — where, according to police, they and another illegal immigrant delivered an MS-13 gang beat-down to two high school students in New York.

All three of the illegal immigrants entered the U.S. in 2016 as unaccompanied alien children, meaning they crossed the border without parents — a status that earned them a quick release into the country, where they were quickly reunited with their family and began to live while awaiting deportations that never came.

For Homeland Security Department officials, it’s the latest sign of a legal system that stymies their efforts to oust dangerous figures.

“One of the loopholes we are imploring Congress to close could have prevented this gruesome attack,” said Katie Waldman, a Homeland Security spokeswoman.

How would I know? How would I know why both Republicans and Democrats have refused to work together to pass good immigration laws, and to secure our border???

How would I know why both Democrats and Republicans refuse to work together for the good of the American people, and to do the job they have been elected to do.

They get elected, and sit up there on the government tit, and government gravy train, and all they care about, it seems, is securing their position, and a great salary, medical plan, and retirement check. and just milking the Government tit, and taxpayers' money.

Can't argue that. Trump had the oppurtunity for a wall deal at 4 times the price point. But the evil DACA stood in the way.
