it's about as bad as California, this state doesn't do research but jumps to conclusions based on word bytes. example: our primary runoff we just had we had Vilarigosa and greusome Neusom on the D we had Allen and Cox on the R.

now on my liberal side of friends I explained that both democrat governor candidates had affairs in office, which I guess is only impeachable if you do it before office nowadays but now because of that (d) they are teflon, especially Newsom who as mayor of SF was more like a dictator and didn't give 2 shits about the peoples wishes, the ones that went for the former mayor of LA, well he's hispanic (I had one hyper liberal "friend" even point out that this would help make California become a part of Mexico again)

Now, out of the 2 parties (Calofornia has made it all but illegal for a 3rd parties to run) on the R side I liked Allen , he seemed to have some serious working plans, but because Cox, a former Chicago politician (which to me says disaster, no good Polichicken has ever come out of Chicago) was backed by Trump so with the conservative base here "oooooh Trump yes!"

November is gonna be interesting here, I either get screwed by still not getting disability and being taxed or just getting taxed and being billed to death, as it stands even now I can't even afford to leave the state thanks to probate laws, I found out I can actually be held liable for the home price even if I walk away from it...

I hope they never get their way. Do people not understand who "ICE" is and what they do?

Official Website of the Department of Homeland Security

        What We Do Overview

ICE’S mission is to protect America from the cross-border crime and illegal immigration that threaten national security and public safety.

This mission is executed through the enforcement of more than 400 federal statutes and focuses on smart immigration enforcement, preventing terrorism and combating the illegal movement of people and goods.
        Immigration Enforcement

Immigration enforcement is the largest single area of responsibility for ICE. While certain responsibilities and close cooperation with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and others require significant ICE assets near the border, the majority of immigration enforcement work for ICE takes place in the country’s interior.

ICE special agents strive to help businesses secure a lawful workforce and enforce immigration laws against those who encourage and rely on unauthorized workers, sometimes taking advantage of their situation to offer low pay and inadequate conditions.

Multiple programs help ICE focus and improve on stated priorities to find and remove illegal aliens who are criminals, fugitives or recent arrivals. Immigration enforcement entails cracking down on those who produce fraudulent documents to enable unlawful activity. Additionally, several robust efforts seek to continue improving the safe and humane detention and removal of persons subject to those actions.

Investigating Illegal Movement of People and Goods

ICE special agents, officers and attorneys enforce provisions of approximately 400 federal statutes. This large and diverse body of laws is reflected in the wide array of offices, programs and projects that make up ICE. People are smuggled and trafficked, while children are sexually exploited at home and abroad.

Illegal trade, in a very general sense, predominately involve guns, money and drugs, but ICE’s responsibilities extend much further into all kinds of illegal and counterfeit merchandise coming into the country. For instance, ICE’s responsibilities include the repatriation of cultural treasures out of the country to original owners abroad, and combatting the trade of child pornography and much more.

        Preventing Terrorism

Most ICE offices and programs have a role in preventing terrorism. Several are on the front lines of this effort, either identifying dangerous persons before they enter the U.S. or finding them as they violate immigration or customs laws. ICE also works to prevent the illegal export of U.S. technology that could be used or repurposed to do harm.

'I'm Not Leaving This Fight': Retiring ICE Director Hits Back at NY Dems for Unfairly Vilifying ICE
Tom Homan set to leave post after 34 years of service.

On his last day on the job, Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan pushed back Friday on the the calls from the left to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Homan was asked about the recent rhetoric from three New York Democrats: actress and gubernatorial hopeful Cynthia Nixon, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a 28-year-old socialist who surprisingly won a House primary this week.

The former “Sex and the City” star made headlines by calling ICE a "terrorist organization," while Gillibrand said Thursday night that it's time to "get rid of [ICE and] start over."

Homan said Gillibrand fails to mention that ICE has arrested 5,000 criminal aliens in New York City and protects the state's northern border against opioid trafficking and cross-border crime.

"We are enforcing the laws that they enacted and they want to vilify us for doing it," the native New Yorker said, criticizing the senator for falsely claiming ICE is separating families at the southern border.

Homan said he has "mixed emotions" about the leaving his post in the middle of a "fight" with those who are unfairly vilifying the agency and President Trump.

"I'm not leaving this fight," he said, adding that as a civilian he'll be able to say a lot more than he can now.

He said Trump has done more for the safety and security of the country than any of the six presidents he has worked under.

Here’s a rather interesting video from someone I usually have mixed opinions about:

            Red Cortez

I also like chart in the video which differentiated between Democratic Socialism (🇻🇪) and Social Democracy (🇫🇮).

Here in Kansas City with @Ocasio2018 to support @BrentWelder and flip this seat in November.

She's campaigning with Sanders in Kansas to flip a GOP seat and said: "Let's flip this seat Red in November."

Not the sharpest tool in the shed, is she?
