Which memo? The Dems? The House Intel Committee voted unanimously to release it. Sources and methods have to be scrubbed before its release.
Neither the FBI or the DOJ opposed the release of the memo. Meanwhile, last week, both the FBI and DOJ (which are led by Trump appointees, need I remind you) were opposed to the release of the Nunes memo, and Trump conveniently ignored them both.

This is also an administration that has treated security issues as a complete joke, giving away allied intel to the Russians, having intelligence briefings in the open at a country club, allowing people to pose with the nuclear football, having unregistered foreign agents as National Security Advisors, multiple people who can't pass a simple background being given indefinite "temporary" security clearance, etc.

To suggest that Trump's motivation is one of security is quite frankly a joke.

Yes, release of the Nunes memo was going to harm methods and sources and would pose a risk to National Security. Did that happen? No. Nor did the release of the Grassley/Graham memo which said essentially the same thing as the Nunes memo. Nothing, in spite of the pre-release autistic screeching from the Dems. The IG report is next month, I'm hoping to see FBI agents go to jail, particularly Comey. The irony. He protects the real criminal, Hillary, and ends up in jail himself. All Trump did was send the memo back for revision to scrub sensitive information. For someone like you, who is so concerned about our National Security, I would think might find to be a good thing.

Security issues as a joke? You've got to be kidding me. How much classified intel was found on Anthony Weiner's home computer? How much classified intel was basically free for the taking for four years from Hillarys home brewed basement server when she was Secretary of State. LOL!!

In a letter to the committee, White House counsel Donald McGahn said, "although the President is inclined to declassify the February 5th Memorandum, because the Memorandum contains numerous properly classified and especially sensitive passages, he is unable to do so at this time."

        ....
Come back to this when the Trump administration has been hacked like the OPM were under Obama. Like the NSA were. Like Hillary was. Like DHS were.

        • It's more than Adam Schiff predicting that the Nunes memo would cause more Oklahoma City type bombings. The content of the memos is what bothers me. I wonder how long the FBI has been taking bullshit evidence to secret courts to do whatever it wants. At this point the whole rotten system needs an overhaul.

Rest assured: If a Republican administration had used unverifiable hearsay from a patently suspect agent of the Republican presidential candidate to gull the FISA court into granting a warrant to spy on an associate of the Democratic nominee’s campaign, it would be covered as the greatest political scandal in a half-century.

Also, it calls into question their work on other cases. If they're doing it here, are they doing it on other cases just to get a "win", especially taking into account the work of FBI lab being found lacking as of late.

Yep. If the Dems did it, the Republicans could too. Frightening. Imagine what a guy like Richard Nixon would have done with a complicit FBI and rubber stamp FISA Courts. It's easy enough to visualize, it's exactly what Hillary Clinton did. What lengths would the FBI go to to win other cases?

              • How come no one complained about the FBI of "bias" when Comey eruptly reopened the Hillary email case during the elections?

Putting bias text on random picture.

What's biased about it? Bullshit evidence? Steele dossier. Secret Courts? FISA. Trying to destroy political opposition? Wiretapping Trump. This might be the norm in Bulgaria, but we don't like it here. You might want to review the evidence from the House and Senate. I realize that the left thinks evidence, particularly real evidence, is really not necessary to go after someone criminally.

A troll, bringing nothing of value.

The good thing though, is that we don't get to see him whine everyday.

Nobody in the FBI made Trump and/or his administration talk to Russians. Its everyone else fault.

Never really understood this constant name dropping.

This is just a nobel exchange of thoughts, post by post, we're growing as human beings.

For a few of us yes, but others it's just pure hatred. The left here (and NZ and Bulgaria) now refers to voting for Trump as a hate crime. So fuck them.
