    • If you don’t know what the “AR” in AR-15 stands for, you don’t get to talk.
      Interesting.

It's interesting because "they" use that very technic all the time though.
You are not black, you don't get to talk about blacks' problems.
You are not a woman, you don't get to talk about women' problems.
You are not *insert a category", you don't get to talk about "said category*'s problems.

Yet "they" get to talk about anything, especially things "they" know nothing about because otherwise it's "bullying".

What a grownup and adult behavior this is.

      • I don't know about you guys, but majority of people I speak to who don't own weapons... legitimately believe AR stands for assault rifle and that it is exclusively a military weapon. It's beyond obnoxious, but the media has won with brainwashing its viewers on certain issues going on in the US.

        • All they know is that there's a gun that can kill a lot of people quickly. Problem is, the Virginia Tech shooter used two pistols to kill 32 people. In the 70's, the gun to ban was the "Saturday Night Special". Cheap handguns, usually revolvers, that had "no sporting purpose and were only used to kill". Sound familiar? Unless of course, you're a low income resident that wants a handgun for personal protection in a shitty neighborhood and that's all you can afford. The end game is a ban on all guns, period. Except for the police, they will protect us. Ahh... maybe not. But if you want to sound like an ignorant douchebag, fine, Just one other thought. We don't we step it up a bit with law enforcement. They're not exactly knocking the cover off the ball here on gun crime. Stat is for Chicago. I haven idea what the conviction rate is, but who cares if no one is ever caught?

Yes that’s correct, she tried to drum up a panic over a BOLT ACTION .22lr rifle!!

This also goes to show that they will not stop just at semi-autos, they want all your guns even your .50 musket.

Why would you do that to a nice .22 rifle? But yeah, Moms Without Brains see that bolt gun as an assault rifle!!

                  • Florida just passed Senate Bill 7026 through their Republican controlled house, meaning you have to be 21 to buy a firearm.

You can can go to war at 18, you can smoke a cigarette at 18, you can make a porno at 18, you can be tried as an adult at 18, but you can’t buy a bolt action rifle nor a shotgun at 18 in Florida, the gunshine state.

Even in countries with draconian gun laws like Australia and the U.K. ; you can buy a firearm at 18.

What the fuck is wrong with you Florida and fuck the Florida Republican Party, you are traitors.

Denying adults their rights hopefully means there’s going to be a large class action lawsuit.

What we really need is a gun ban and confiscation. Why? Well, we need to get guns out of the hands of criminals. But you just passed new gun laws on top of thousands of other gun laws on the books. Yes, but criminals don't care about gun laws. What we really need is a gun ban and confiscation. Why? Well we need to get guns........Jesus, the circle jerk of stupid is really mind blowing. A bunch of traumatized teenagers being manipulated like puppets on strings by the left have accomplished their goal of more gun laws. Laws which an individual willing to rob, rape, murder or kidnap is pretty unlikely to follow or care about, so the law abiding citizen once again takes it in the shorts.

The article tries to pose as not as retarded as it really is.
For the most part reading it I had a feeling that it's points were agreeable, but it tries to sneak in some serious BS.
                        Some examples:
Admits statistics say semi automatic rifles are involved in only 4% of all gun killings, but at the end still tries to argue that it's some kind of go-to weapon for killers. In reality though it's the go-to weapon for sports shooters etc.
The article tries to argue that people who actually legally own and shoot guns only know more about terminology of guns and not the whole gamut of topics related with gun ownership. So it's IMO not the gun owners who commit "gunsplaining" but the gun control people who refuse to listen to arguments on things they have only warped and incomplete insights in.
Also it rides the wave of faux accusations that responsible gun owners are somehow responsible for crime they wouldn't dream of committing. It also attacks the US constitution at least twice. Once by trying to argue that people who say that an emotional appeal does not overrule their constitutional rights are somehow wrong or immoral. And with the weird argument that "the right to bear arms" somehow translates into "the right to bear arms of the period the amendment was formulated" and not that it actually meant that people are to be allowed to adequately defend themselves and their rights and freedom.

People talk a lot about stuff they don't know about. When others want to get into the real details, the Left attempts to destroy thought by creating a stupid, thoughtless (literally, not figuratively) idea like "gunsplaining."
