  • Coffee or Tea?

I am quite disturbed (and really bored) with the lack of polls in today's threads.

So I pose to you this very important question:

    Coffee or Tea?

    FIGHT (or discuss)!

Yeah throw that tea into Boston Harbor, let the fish have it.

      Tea.

      Definitely tea.

I usually like it well brewed and dark.

Though a good Japanese macha, traditionally prepared with all the traditional stuff... yeah. That's the good stuff.

      Coffee gives me cold sweats.

You are a good man Hollis, this is the patriotic and correct choice.

        Coffee, all day 'err day.

Quick aside, is France generally pro coffee or pro tea?

Never had cold sweats from coffee but some black teas give me crazy jitters which is strange as I consume massive amounts of caffeine.

I can't say there is a clear consensus on the subject.

England, Japan, China, Korea, India, etc... may be stereotypically, rightfully I suppose, aligned with the consumption of tea; I really can't say the same thing about France.

In cafés and bars people may be more inclined to order a coffee because it is "easier" and faster to drink.
Usually, when you don't know what to order, you just order a coffee. But it may also come from the fact that the coffee used is of "better" quality than the tea. Tea served in cafés is, usually, mainstream tea. The Twining kind diluted in a lot of water.

Coffee. One to kick start the day, one as soon as I hit the office. One at 10:30 to make sure I am still awake and one at lunchtime.
