  • Jobs I've had.

Paperboy, Boy Scout camp counselor, McDonalds fry cook, gas station/carwash attendant, dental chair factory(paint shop), municipal life guard, dishwasher/bus boy(food service=awful) . In Medical School third year we could moonlight in ERs, nursing homes and the State Hospital for decent cash, I did all three. In residency we could moonlight doing OB anesthesia at night for even better cash. Then my career, general practice anesthesiologist. The only job I really disliked was dishwasher/bus boy. People are really slobs. My favorite, other than my career, working for the Boy Scouts, I was on the waterfront staff and just loved it. For the future, I might go back to school and become a licensed clinical addictions counselor, lot of need there. Devil Child, what do you think?

working cattle horseback, waitress, mobile home factory building mobile homes, nurses aide, L.V.N., also one year I had a full-time job and like 4-5 part time jobs, & one of the part time jobs was cooking lunch for an elderly couple, Oh and cleaning houses also as a part time job, & taking care of an at home quadriplegic as a part time job.

*chores at home as a kid: milking the milk cow when my Dad was late getting home, getting the milk cow up from the pasture, hoeing weeds in the garden, carrying a 5 gallon bucket of slop to the pigs, gathering chickens' eggs,

If I had life to do all over again, I'd be a farmer! I would grow organic fresh vegetables until the cows came home! & make a living doing it!

That is understatement, lots of need for sure. I say go for it! Even more so if you have the passion for it. But beware, counselors are kinda odd folk, so that means you will fit right in
