    We spend most of our foreign aid budget in that region in an effort to keep the Chinese out of the area. I'm assuming both us and the Kiwis lean on France to ensure they keep their house in order.

            Seriously though, I’m all for independence of some islands on the pacific but if it means Chinese main-mise on the place they better be damned careful what they wish for.

                          It's a long list that pretty much covers most of the Pacific then there's the white side that's Siberian, German, Swedish and British and Saipanese.
