  • FCC hearing stopped by security

FCC hearing about net neutrality was just stopped and the room cleared by security. People were told to leave the room and leave everything behind. K9 now checking the room. I'm watching this on WaPo stream.

Journos and photographers not happy they had to leave their cameras. Expect a lot of police state news.

And people are being let back in. Someone must really like net neutrality.

I hope the process leading up to, the FCC delivering the keys to Verizon, will be thoroughly investigated, so we can learn as much as possible, about how we as consumers can better support giant monopolies, so we can continue to insure a less competitive and regulated market. I'm specifically interested in the some two million comments posted by dead or stolen identities. As a person on the LeftTM, I am very interested in voter fraud and would love a few tips from Mr. Pie.

Oh be quiet drama queen. You’re not even American. Wallow in your socialist utopia.

You know I broke 'net neutrality' last week too. I depreciated the priority of some data, blocked some web sites, made sure that a local cache was used for others. Or in other words I did exactly the same thing as ISP's do and have done during both the 'utopia' phase when Obama decided that an internet connection is the same as a water pipe and the 'hellish' previous phase when technology was stunted and nothing new was allowed.

Just to re-iterate, I have yet to meet anyone who actually understands how networks work who thought that 'net neutrality' was anything other than an idiots fantasy.

I remember how a person couldn't find anything on the internet 2 years ago until Obama gave us net neutrality. It was just like health care where we were stepping over dead bodies in the street everyday until Obamacare passed and then all of a sudden costs dropped and disease went away. Oh wait, nevermind...

ISPs will soon be charging hundreds of dollars per month just to access liberal websites. Access to websites investigating Trump’s collusion with Russian nationals will be banned outright shortly thereafter.

Barack Obama’s Twitter has already been suspended: https://mobile.twitter.com/Barack_Ob...Ctwgr%5Eauthor

                        This is the end.

                            I will requote myself.

While we are at it, I'd like to take up the equally important issue of vehicle neutrality.

It's blatantly unfair that a VW Touareg can hold more cargo than a Nissan Leaf. That a Ferrari is faster than a Toyota Corolla. That a Mini consumes less fuel per km than a Porsche Cayenne. And worse vehicle manufacturers charge different amounts for different vehicles claiming that they "meet different needs". This lack of Vehicle Neutrality needs to be stopped at once.

On faceyspace i asked one of the vocal opponents of the repeal to cite for me using the legislation what exactly was going to affect any of the network layers. I’m not sure he even knew the difference between TCP or UDP.

Needless to say it’s been days and no replies.
