  • State of emergency declared amid violence at Charlottesvilles 'Unite the Right' rally

Who's attending this carnival? The far-right, the Alt-right, what remains of the KKK and counter-protesters - Antifas etc.

    http://edition.cnn.com/2017/08/12/us...lly/index.html

Demonstrators clashed Saturday on the streets of Charlottesville ahead of a "Unite the Right" rally as white nationalists and other right-wing groups -- and counter-protesters -- converged in this college town in the latest flare-up of a running nation debate over the country's identity.

Fist fights and screaming matches erupted before the rally, which police expect to attract thousands of people. The skirmishes unfolded just hours after a scuffle Friday night between torch-bearing demonstrators and counter-protesters at the nearby University of Virginia.

Saturday's rally is the latest event drawing white nationalists and right-wing activists from across the country to this Democratic-voting college town -- a development first precipitated by the city's decision to remove symbols of its Confederate past.

Well they are free to protest, and it seems like the fights are being started by both sides.

So neither is any better than the other in manner.

:edit: looks like its being broken up now.

RIP to the dead and speedy recovery to the injured.

The Alt-Rightists showed up with Swastika and Confederate flags. Very happy the US had a hand in defeating both.

One person died, but it's not known if it was from the car driving into people yet...

The reporter in the above footage is Faith Goldy of the Rebel media, someone the left likes to label "alt-right" on a regular basis, although she's just a right-wing Canadian conversative, who's mixed race...

Well, if it's the rise of the Far Right and the Neo Nazis in the USA, they seem kind of wussified as of right now, not as organized or as violent, atm, as say in Ukraine, imho, but it can, I think escalate, get worse. I hate to see it, if it does.
Whether it will or not, idk, but i think so, in time. The bad thing is, some Dems / "Progressives? will label all Republicans /conservatives as such, which is not true, just as all Democrats / Progressives aren't "Socialists, Communists, Antifas. "

The MSM are narrating this as being the biggest gathering of such groups (alt-right/KKK/White supremacists/whatever) in years. Generally they organise small rallies that are mostly unnoticed by the public, this time and with the level of violence plus this car that plowed through the crowd, it's worse and make media's headlines.

Trump is right, fuck these neonutzis, there's no place for violence, bigotry and hate. They are giving Southrons a terrible name waving the stars and bars.

Rip to the dead, speedy recovery to the wounded.

This is a a 1a paradox for me.

The Nazi fucktards have the right of assembly and speech, but never will I support anyone flying a Swastika.

The ANTIFA and BLM are fucktards too.

This is a bit like Hezbollah vs. ISIS; both ends of the turd are dirty, and I would cheer for both sides in death match if not for the innocents caught in the middle.

There are reports of a police helicopter crashed in a wooden area.

Technically and due to the first Amendment anyone "could" fly a swastika anywhere in the US. Sadly those who do and dare are not aware of the carnage this ideology produced 70+ years ago in Europe.. So they shouldn't be crying when they get punched.

Freedom of speech, liberty are great things and the altright somehow take benefits of it to spread their nauseous diatribes.
