This thread was started by GB-FXST, it´s a beautiful thread so importing controversies from other threads is not cool.

Okay, I will give you the benefits of the doubt.

Europe then, in the 1930s was by and large very antisemitic. I'm not going to bash the Poles specifically. During WW2, in France, 40 millions letters were sent to expose Jewish families or resistants to nazism to the Gestapo or SS. Yep, even the France of Léon Blum (Hardly a catholic) then that of Pétain did this.

Nobody forced these people to expose their Jewish neighbors, or the resistants through anonymous letters. Unfortunately it still happened and this landed many people in the Nazi death camps, in Poland.

I can only think of Denmark and Bulgaria, as European countries who didn't hurt, expose, handed their jewish population en masse to a tragic fate.

The king of Morroco then, also mentioned when he was 'ordered' or asked to send his jewish population to Germany: ''there are no jews in Morroco, only Morrocan citizens.''

"Who managed the crematoria there?" he asked — a reference to the fact that death camp prisoners, usually Jews, were forced to help dispose of gas chamber victims.

Wolski was joined on his show by a right-wing commentator, Rafal Ziemkiewicz, who only a day earlier had used an extremely derogatory term to refer to Jews on Twitter. The comment was later removed.

Pitty that abcnews forgot that to mention that Wolski is writing anti-Jewish propaganda from 1960s. He was writing for official magazines of Polish People's Army (stuff like poem about Moshe Dayan and his thirst for Arab blood). He has morphed from commie anti-zionist into far-right populist , but his repertoire is very much the same. People don't pay attention to him , his words or "his" TV channel , no need to worry

Since 15th of Nov. 1939 EVERYTHING belonging to Polish Post was taken over by Deutsche Post Osten. All pre war staff of Poczta Polska was ordered to report back to work or face arrest and deportation to Germany.

“Now is the time to give you this historic item,” Weichert’s son told archivists. “It is important for the world to know the story and remember, and also to know that the Poles were partners in atrocities of the Germans during the Holocaust and knew about the atrocities.”
Some envelopes had Polish stamps on them, reading: “German victory on all fronts!” which in Weichert’s eyes expressed cooperation and identification of Poles with the Nazis’ actions.
They were at least 4 variations of those V symbol stamps. It's not a proof for cooperation and approval of Nazi actions. It was German propaganda. It peek usage was in July to September 1941 (posted envelope was from July 41) , stopped completely with the end of 1942.

Other posted envelops with hand written "Zurück Krakau" didn't make it into jpost article. Didn't fit the current agenda ?

                    • New French film raises ghosts of Nazi medical horrors

Michel Cymes believes remains of 86 Jews tortured by SS doctor August Hirt may still be in the anatomy collection of the University of Strasbourg

A new documentary about the scale of Nazi medical experiments has reopened old wounds in France as one of the country’s leading universities investigates whether its stores still contain the remains of some Jewish victims.

The Swiss-born anatomist was “one of the worst Nazi figures”, according to Dr Raphael Toledano, a specialist on Nazi medical experiments.

Living under the French Vichy regime which collaborated with the Nazis, they were persecuted for being Jewish; now they are eligible for a one-time payment of $3,183

“This is a long overdue recognition for a large group of Jews in Algeria who suffered anti-Jewish measures by Nazi allies like the Vichy Regime,” said Greg Schneider, executive vice president of the Claims Conference. “The Vichy government subjected these people to restrictions on education, political life, participation in civil society and employment, abolishing French citizenship and singling them out only because they were Jews.”
