This recognition of the far right violence in Ukraine is late by more than three years. It ignores far right involvement in the Maidan and Odesa massacres, the war in Donbas, and political assassinations, their alliance with oligarchic parties, and their integration in the police, the National Guard, and the Security Service of Ukraine.

Ivan Katchanovski The Ukrainian state funding is now openly given not only to the Azov regiment, organized and led by the Neo-Nazi Patriot of Ukraine, but also to the neo-Nazi C14.

The head of the competition commission, which determined the distribution of funds, was Mykola Danevych, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. And the secretary is Nikolai Lyakhovich, the head of the department of national-patriotic education of the Ministry of Miniature Sports.
Only in 2018 members of the "С14" conducted or initiated such radical actions: they destroyed the Roma camp in Kyiv; grabbed and dragged by the city of the ex-militant Lusvarga; poured a red monument to the Soviet General Nikolai Vatutin in the Mariinsky Park in the center of Kiev; tried to demolish the Soviet monument to Korchagin in Boyarka; blocked the entrance to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
Some supporters of the С14 called on social networks to counteract the March of Equality that should take place on June 17 in Kyiv. Earlier, the leader of the C14 Eugene Karas on the broadcast of the Public Radio reported that in 2012, the members of the organization "actively broke" the March Equality March
    .

    DISTRIBUTION OF MONEY
The Competition Commission decided that three measures of the educational organization "Educational Assembly" should be financed from the funds of taxpayers, among which founders Yevgeny Karas (head of the radicals "С14") and a children's camp from the NGO "Sich-С14", among whose founders Volodymyr Karas (has the same surname, patronymic, as the head of "С14" and registered at the same address).
In total for this from the state budget were allocated 440 thousand hryvnia. According to the results of the competition, money should go to the projects: "National patriotic education - the key to state information security"; "
Popularization of the national historical heritage through the use of historical-simulative fun" Cold Yar "; "

Legal awareness as the fundamental basis of modern national patriotic education"; "All-Ukrainian Distance Center for National and Patriotic Education".
Read also: "Maybe in our country it is so permissible - without a slap on the pike someone may not understand" - Karays NGO "Goloseevskaya Kriyivka" received 760 thousand hryvnias. Among the founders of the NGO are Ruslan Andriyko, Lidiya Ushii, Radislav Dudtka, Dmytro Pavlyuk. Ruslan Andriyko is the head of the Chernihiv Liberty, an ex-deputy of the city council; Lydia Ushii - a member of the "Liberty", filed in the party list to the city council; Radislav Dudtka is an activist of Svoboda, a senior lawyer-consultant of the youth organization "Sokol Svoboda"; Dmytro Pavlyuk, a member of the "Freedom" party, run for the party list to Kyiv city council.
According to the results of the competition, money should go to the projects: "All-Ukrainian festival Baturinfest" Shabla "; "All-Ukrainian Festival" Dontsov Fest "; "All-Ukrainian Festival" Carpathian Ukraine "; "All-Ukrainian Festival" Galchev Fest ".

In 2016, Nikolai Lyakhovich was also a member of the commission on the allocation of funds for measures of national-patriotic education. Then, among other things, an amount of more than 40 thousand hryvnias from the state budget was allocated for printing a brochure on the emergence of UPA Polissya Sich. Polissya Sich, which, according to historian John Armstrong, appeared with the permission of the Wehrmacht.

Another member of the commission, Mykola Danevych, is a former head of the Holosiivka Regional State Administration.
CAUSES AND WAYS OF SOLVING Public radio communicated with Nikolai Lyakhovich. He emphasizes that the competition was held in accordance with the law and the competition committee can not analyze the ideology of the organizations submitting their projects. The competition commission has 4 representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The commission also includes other civil servants - in particular, representatives of the State Border Guard Service. And 51% of the commission, according to the norms, are representatives of NGOs.
"Projects are defined in accordance with the priorities set by the government in the announcement of the competition," says Liakhovich. - We have worked out how the activities of the members of the commission correspond to the values benchmarks and indicators of efficiency, laid down in the strategy of national patriotic education in accordance with the decree of the president of Ukraine from 2015 ".
The rating appraisal of projects is in accordance with the Cabinet resolution 1049, explains Lyakhovych. Any registered Ukrainian public organization that has been in operation for more than two years may submit a project.
The project should cover not less than 14 regions of Ukraine. "As a citizen, I understand that it is impossible to support destructive projects or destructive moves, but in order for a civil servant to be able to influence this, a mechanism must be laid down in legislation," says Lyakhovich. When allocating funds, xenophobia and discrimination are exclusively targeted projects, rather than the activities of a specific organization that is submitting this project. The only mechanism currently available for influencing such contests is to appeal to the GPU or the Ministry of Justice, to initiate proceedings, to investigate and submit a relevant court decision.

      Officially:

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine removed from the list of temporarily occupied settlements of the village Gladosov, Maynev and Novo Aleksandrovka, who were released by our Warriors this year. The first two - Donetsk region, the third - Luhansk.

Thank our Warriors for it! Every meter of Ukrainian land returned to Ukraine's control is an indescribable holiday, and here are three settlements! I expect the same decision on Chigaryam, South, and I very much believe -

Since I posted it on the forum this post has disappeared off of livemap.com. I guess since it's a violation of MINSK, powers that be decided it didn't need to be broadcast.
Edited to add, he was a volunteer with one of the Punisher battalions in 2014 but idk which one. Reading him, I get the feeling there are persons in Ukraine who would like to overthrow Poroshenko and who don't like the EU and US telling Ukraine what to do.

        • Ukraine’s new heroes: Anti-Semites and murderers of Jews
Stepan Bandera collaborated with the Nazis, Symon Petliura is linked to the massacre of as many as 100,000 Jews, and Ivan Rohach was the editor of an anti-Semitic newspaper—yet the three of them are commemorated in Ukraine’s city squares and streets; ‘this is morally unacceptable,’ a local Jewish leader says, accusing the government of rewriting history and denying the Holocaust.

                • Far-Right Group C14 Wins Funding From Ukrainian Government
                  14 June, 2018
                  https://en.hromadske.ua/posts/far-ri...ian-government

Far-right radical group C14, who are responsible for a string of attacks on the LGBT and Roma community, will receive thousands of dollars in funding from Ukrainian Ministry of Youth and Sport, Hromadske Radio reports.

C14, together with organizations Educational Assembly and Holosiyiv Hideout, won a competition for “national patriotic education projects,” held by the Ministry of Youth and Sport. The winners were announced on June 8 by the commission responsible for the competition, headed by Deputy Minister Mykola Danevych.

The other two other successful organizations also have links to to the far-right – Educational Assembly was founded by C14 leader Yevhen Karas, and Holosiyiv Hideout was founded by members of the ultra-nationalist political party Svoboda.

C14 will receive around $16,800 for their children’s summer camp, as will Educational Assembly, who will use the money for three events. Holosiyiv Hideout won approximately $29,000 to be spent on four festivals.

What’s more, in Danevych’s absence, the meeting to announce the winners was chaired by Mykola Lyakhovych, head of the Ministry of Youth and Sport’s Department for National-Patriotic Education. Lyakhovych also has connections to far-right movements – in particular, the far-right political organization Ukrainian National Assembly – Ukrainian People's Self-Defence.

In a comment to Hromadske Radio, Lyakhovych noted that the competition had been carried out in accordance with the law and that the competition commission cannot analyse the ideology of the organizations applying to the competition.

The second driver was far more idiotic.
He attempted to park his car right in the front of a police station in the city that is the capital of the region where I was born. The policemen spotted him on CCTV and noticed his parking attempt took much longer than it was supposed to. He also swapped his lights a couple of times. This one will not be so lucky, as his alcohol intake exceeded 2 per mile, so he may spend 2 years in prison.

Poland has very harsh punishment for drink-driving. And that's a good thing.
In Lithuania ukrainian lorry drivers are the worst offenders of drink driving and before this whole shitshow it was mostly russians and belorusians.

So the elites have decided that they have the prerogative to tell the unwashed masses what their values should be.

Not that I'm complaining, I have nothing against homosexuals but I'm still glad that these foreign-pressured indoctrination efforts don't happen in my country. Where to society moves to there it moves, but it should always happen naturally.

RFE/RL: Protesters clash with police, seek entry into Ukraine parliament

                                https://www.kyivpost.com/ukraine-pol...arliament.html

KYIV -- Crowds of protesters including coal miners, Chernobyl cleanup workers, and Soviet Afghan war veterans have clashed with police outside the Ukrainian parliament.

Some of the more than 2,000 protesters broke though a police cordon and were trying to enter the parliament building during the demonstration on June 19.

Police used what appeared to be tear gas, but the protest continued.

The protesters included veterans of the Soviet Union's 1979-89 war in Afghanistan, "liquidators" who were sent to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant after the 1986 disaster there, coal miners, and Ukrainians who have fought in the ongoing war with Russia-backed separatists in the country's east.

Their demands included improved benefits for public transportation use, increases in state support for disabled veterans, and the allocation of billions of hryvnyas for the development of the country’s struggling coal industry.

Kyiv police said earlier that the protests caused complications for transport on two major streets in the city center.
