Nothing to do with weak spots, Israel is simply not a threat to them at all, so why would they provoke their ire when they don't have any need to?

        X2
But if they are feeling lucky, they can always lob a mortar or two on Israel an wait for IAF strike on SAA, as has been happening for years

        • The way it's probably going to go: SAA will attack the green areas, and the green will collapse as ISIS will want to retreat to the green areas and green areas will probably prefer reconciliation under the SAA than be temporarily absorbed by ISIS. Divide et impera. Meanwhile Israel will bomb SAA a couple of times for stray mortars and some such, but not enough to stop the advance.

                E. #Syria: preliminary list of (pro-)Regime soldiers killed (around 40) this morning in suspected US-led Coalition airstrikes near #AbuKemal. Includes 2 Generals and several (Lt) Colonels.

This is how the US is fighting ISIS. Shameful.

The settlements in the UNDOF zone are empty and deserted. I wonder could some "rebel" group attack UNDOF as a last ditch killing spree.

Actually makes more sense than attacking Israeli's, and there was some form for peaceful protesting Islamic jihadists in attacking UNDOF at the early stages of this conflict.

                        • World Cup is finished. Israel attacked military post near Aleppo in same area near airport as in April. This could be effect of last Netanyahu visit in Moscow.
