    Al-Qaida operative Muhsin al-Fadhli killed in air strike

    WASHINGTON- A longtime al Qaida operative and key figure in the so-called Khorasan Group, Muhsin al-Fadhli, was killed in a US air strike while traveling in a vehicle in northwestern Syria two weeks ago, the Pentagon said on Tuesday.

    Al-Fadhli, who had previously been targeted and believed by some US officials to have been killed, was traveling in a vehicle on July 8 near Sarmada, Syria, west of Aleppo, when he was hit by an air strike, the Pentagon said.

        Activists say missile kills 10 in northern Syrian city

                    Russia is doing a lot to increase the combat readiness of the Syrian Army to fight ISIL militants, Russia’s Ambassador to Syria Alexander Kinshchak said. According to him, it is in Russia's interest to support fight against terrorism in Syria.

                          not syria related daesh scumbag news. i didn't know where to post this. so, here it goes.

                          in bishkek, kyrgyzstan GKNB (state security service, ex-KGB) forces killed 4 ISIS terrorists in 2 operations. 4 others were detained. 3 of the killed were citizens of kazakhstan, 1 was of kyrgyz nationality. video
