      RIP to the dead.

It was apparently a relatively straightforward operation, so it seems as though someone messed up badly. From the pictures, I'd suspect that the ship is a complete write-off.

                              • Steep price rise hits Indo-Russian 5th-gen fighter project

                                http://www.defensenews.com/articles/...ighter-project

NEW DELHI — Just when its production was about to take off, the Indo-Russian fifth-generation fighter aircraft appears to be "lost" because Russians are demanding an "unaffordable price for the aircraft," according to a senior Indian Air Force official.

Didn't know production was "about to take off". Guess I wasn't paying attention as I thought there was a new engine still to be developed.
