Oh don't worry someone told Macierewicz that our pilots can fly even on barn door. I heard someone from MOD ip range was google quering titanium barn doors vs F16.

Yeah I'm actually suspecting that those F-16 will go directly to WOT and will be manned by glider pilots.

Event its co-organized by Caritas of filed chaplains of polish armed forces. A separate organization. Event will be organized in 16 towns a day before WOSP finale.
Caritas and Caritas of Field Chaplains of PAF are two separate entities. I suspect CFCPAF wanted to organize charity events in cooperation with MoD but MoD was the one that gave "only" available date for such events. If anything this will actually harm the CFCPAF event more than WOSP, since WOSP has greater media presence.

It's all wrong. Our MoD is the most distrusted Polish politician and he's the most incompetent Minister of Defence I've ever known. What would you expect after a guy who destroyed out counterintelligence, disclosed all information about its agents, and wants to strip our professional army of its equipment in order to give it to civilians who will be exercising once a week? This guy is an idiot, but he's the most trusted Kaczynski's friend, so nothing can be done about him.

Well would be easier if our dear goverment was not hell bent on making entire armed forces a 'political thread". MOD being run by "somone who does not discens difference bewen his interpretations and a fact, and pulbicists thesis from hard evidence." is not helping either.

                  • So here's the guy lobbying for purchase of used F-16's, same guy who was also calling for "close cooperation with commercial companies in training" after he was moved to reserve:
                    https://32blot.wp.mil.pl/pl/62_813.html
                    Currently tied to Pulaski's Foundation:

Looks like early retirement opened up new opportunities ahead of him. He's been lobbying for purchase of used F-16's for the past three years.

According to source inside the 32BLot there's no way in hell we'll buy used F-16's.

It seem to be part of larger action co-ordinated at central comitte level not just MOD aimed at trying to s..t on WOSP by organizing charity events using army resouces day before. Explains why Cartias actualy "supported" WOSP this year.

                      • Yesterday "Nasz Dziennik"(yes i know ) wrote an article that Polish military procurement agency received only two offers for the "medium" VIP plane. Both offers (Boeing and Lufthansa Technik AG with Czech Glomex MS s.r.o) propose the same type of plane, Boeing 737-800.First plane will be "used one" and will have to be delivered till november of this year (132 seats), second and third will be brand new and will have to be delivered till 2020 and 2021 (65 seats each and BBJ2 variant). Both contenders are ready to deliver new planes by 2019.

                        • So it looks like our MoD wants to buy 12 AW101 in a single SAR/Anti-sub configuration. Fun fact, it won't be able to land on deck of any current or future Polish Navy's ship because it's too big (not sure about that though).

Also, since our ammo supply for Leopard 2 tanks included use of German stockpiles by moving our Leopard to the eastern flank we're effectively limiting our reserves from 30 days to 7 days worth of ammo. In addition, our logistic support remains in Żagań, while actual tanks will be stationed near Warsaw or even in Giżycko (north west, right near Kaliningrad oblast), which puts it right under the nose of potential Russian artillery. Makes sense right? Not.

Add to that US forces stationed in Świetoszów, south west of Poland, effectively defending the western German flank.

                          • Antonio Loco has made another idiotic decision - the MoD plans to buy 57k 5.56mm Beryl assault rifles for our Sunday soldiers (civilians who will be exercising 102 days a week), while some units in our professional army still use 7.62mm AKMs.

                            • Right now there is almost 100 000 Beryl rifles in our armed forced - more than enough to equip every single infantrymen in our land forces. If anywhere AK rifle remain in use its because they want to use it till it dies and get rid of it from our magazines together with all ammunition for it we still have. Even GROM sometimes use AK rifles during public exhibitions.

After it oldest Beryls (delivered in late 90's and early 2000's) will land in magazines, making room for MSBS.

Everything is in perfect order and according to plan, no need for drama.
