Yeah they have a good rep in general. You can't really go wrong with the main local suppressor outfits.

    • Speaking of which, what do I find waiting for me when I get home, just 24 hours after placing my order?

      A mysterious package....

      Whatever could be inside?!??!?

Why it's a brand new shining suppressor (or silencer if you've never heard a rifle fired with one of these before)...

Saturday has been designated the day for running in the new toy. I'm rather excited!

      • I get my range key on Monday, that will also be a good day of shooting.

        • I will be leaving as an academic exercise to work out the length of the suppressor. The map scale is 1:55,000,000 and it runs approximately from Cairns in Australia to Beijing in China.

Like to help you out, but I've got the bare minimum. Now, if it were 55gr, I have an ample supply of that.

            • just spotted a beauty on imgur.com...... the handgun I have always wanted but was both too poor to own, and even if I owned it, I could not bring myself to mar the finish by actually shooting it....a blued Colt Python 357 magnum, looks like an 8 inch barrel maybe 6 inch but God that finish and the beauty of the firearm. Non gun people, just don't get it, but when I see a beauty like this Python....my heart goes pitter pat.

                • Crikey. Must order the powder and primers and man the reloader. I feel inadequate.

careful you don't get your suppressor in the Tasman Sea.
Suppressors don't kill people, people kill people.

Yep. The Zombie Apocalypse or the oft predicted TEOTWAWKI. You shoot tracer ammo?

I gotta agree that the Python is a masterwork of the gunmakers art.

Junglejim and riderboy you guys are making me feel inadequate. I have less than 1500 rounds of .223 and just a couple of hundred of other calibres.

                          .
Years ago, many of the local police carried wheelguns and the elite carried Pythons. I will never forget one time (in the 1970s IIRC) some criminal killed a local cop and stole the python. As far as I know the stolen gun never recovered. maybe at bottom of a river somewhere.

Well, if it's OK with JJ, you can still be part of the zombie rapid response team. We'll spot you some ammo....Python was a great pistol, the Smith 686 is pretty fucking awesome as well

Sharing is caring! What's a few hundred rounds between friends ... of the revolution.

I only shoot tracer rounds, if I mix them up accidentally and forgot about it. :/ Kinda happened a few months ago
